Alison Grillo is New York City's Woman Trapped Inside a Woman's Body. A former college professor who has been on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Alison performs at colleges and universities around the country, and at NYC comedy clubs, especially the Broadway Comedy Club, as well as many alternative venues. She has published fiction in various literary magazines. Her academic degrees include a B.A. in economics and political science from Drew University, an M.F.A. in creative writing from Emerson College, and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
