Biography
Gerard Mignone grew up in a small town in upstate New York, the second of four boys. All devoted Yankee fans except for the youngest who is a Mets fan. The family is still trying to figure out how he turned out so wrong. When your brother is a Mets fan, being gay is no problem! Gerard still likes manly things such as football, as long as he can follow it up with live musical theater as a chaser.
Gerard is "workin' it" on the stage with his own unique brand of gay comedy all over the country - except the South and Midwest of course. His dry humor was a big hit with the lesbians of Fire Island, the men of Atlantis gay cruises, and the English of London. His jokes translated very well from English to English. He has shared the stage with comedians Jessica Kirson, Judy Gold and Ant.
Gerard attributes his FABulousness to all those who pray for the homosexuals. Their prayers were answered! He is using his humor and comedy to gather new recruits to increase the percentage of homosexuals in the world. First it's Comedy Central, next headlining the Southern Baptist Convention. Heaven help us all.
Gerard is single but never alone, he shares an apartment in Manhattan with the best audience a guy could want...his cat Michael.
