Biography
Rachael Parenta, a native to New Jersey, began her comedy career in Portland, OR and now lives in New York City, Are we following so far?
Ms. Parenta’s perspective gives subjects such as family, pop culture, dating, and disproportionately small-handed men an absurd bent. She has also been known to break out the guitar and serenade crowds with original songs about the benefits of alcohol, how her apartment manager is the devil, and a brand new dance 50s style dance song "Punch a Banker in the Face."
Since Rachael's move back to the east coast she has had several short plays produced, an essay published along side Carrie Fisher in a book entitled What Was I Thinking?!, contributed writings to the snarky website Gawker.com, was featured in the New York Underground Comedy Festival’s Emerging Comics Showcase, The Women's Comedy Festival in Boston, is the co-headliner of the live comedy show “Please, Someone Kill Me!” And most recently the host of Football Laces Podcast. She can be seen performing in NYC’s downtown scene as well as small towns and big cities throughout the US. So check out this versatile, multi-talented, funny woman.
